Your family can be happy
You can have a happy marriage and family by applying principles of Bhagavad-Gita
na gṛhaṁ gṛham ity āhur
gṛhiṇī gṛham ucyate
tayā hi sahitaḥ sarvān
“Merely a house is not a home, for it is a wife who gives a home its meaning. If one lives at home with his wife, together they can fulfill all the interests of human life.” –Chaitanya charitamrita .
But in married life it’s very easy to get drifted away by snare of Maya in the form of women. So if one doesn’t not take care of rules and regulations governing house-holder life one is bound to get dispatched to hell by the agents of yamaraja. Such are the rules of grihastha ashram, for neglecting the regulations. So what are the rules and regulations for a house holder, let us see in Bhagavad Gita,
na tyājyaṁ kāryam eva tat
yajño dānaṁ tapaś caiva
“Acts of sacrifice, charity and penance are not to be given up; they must be performed. Indeed, sacrifice, charity and penance purify even the great souls”. These are the words of the supreme personality of godhead in Bhagavad Gita for a house-holder. Krishna also says in Bhagavad Gita that
yataḥ pravṛttir bhūtānāṁ
yena sarvam idaṁ tatam
sva-karmaṇā tam abhyarcya
siddhiṁ vindati mānavaḥ
By worship of the Lord, who is the source of all beings and who is all-pervading, a man can attain perfection through performing his own work.” How to execute all these things in day to day life? Visit our temple every weekends at least…attend the vedic classes, get to learn more about it. Hare Krishna.
